This blog is about the life and times of me, a vagabond, while going to school for astronomy and astrophysics. I try to keep most of my post astronomy related.
You’re probably wondering why I say “vagabond gypsy”. Aren’t they the same? No. A vagabond is “wandering from place to place without any settled home” aka homeless. A gypsy is a cultural reference to a person who travels freely, and known to be a thief. It is also believed that Gypsies originated from Egypt.
This blog was created to help me write my book You Can’t Take The Sky From Me
My pen name is Casyopeia. I obtained this nickname from my very first Astronomy class in high school, because Amanda is such a boring name. It was in this Astronomy class that I decided that I wanted to study astronomy, and from there astrophysics.
I was kicked out before I graduated high school, and the only way I could obtain money for school was proving to the government that I am homeless. Thus, I am legally homeless. You can learn about my life from this post. What I currently do you can learn from this post.
I used to live in a dorm room, and then on breaks from school I lived on people’s couches.
**However, now I am married as of November 2011, but I still hold on to my vagabond tendencies.
